If you don’t take care of yourself…you can’t take care of anyone else.
1. Get Fit! I’m not worrying about numbers on the scale or the size I wear. I’m worrying about my health and celebrating more anniversaries with my husband. I joined Weight Watchers again and I’m excited about it. I lost the most amount of weight doing Weight Watchers a few years ago and I look forward to it being just as helpful this last time.
2. Stop Smoking! I used to be a heavy smoker. Then I quit when we were trying to get pregnant. Then somewhere between not getting pregnant and moving to another state, I started “lightly” smoking. Since our trip to NY, I’ve stopped completely. I don’t miss it except when I’m driving, which isn’t much of an issue since I rarely drive these days. I don’t want to ever smoke again and if I wish to be successful at number one above, then I really need to be successful at number two.
3. Make more time to pamper myself. In the last year I feel like I’ve gotten so far off track in this department. It can be so hard for me to put myself first but I realize that I have to in order to live a calm and enjoyable life with my family.
4. Make a budget and stick to it. Period.
