Can you believe that we are less than one week away from the first official day of Autumn?  Crazy stuff this getting older and time flying business. I don’t really care for it.

There’s not been much news on the house lately.  They should have done the first coat of primer today.  Cabinets are in, as well as most of the trim.  My in-laws will be out there tomorrow to give us an update and take more pictures. 

We’re less than 30 days from when our mortgage rate lock-in expires.  We thought we would close before October 13th (the expiration date) but we haven’t gotten any “official” notification from the builders closing department and I’m starting to get worried.  We were told that they would send us out a letter with 30 days notice to closing.  Since we’re now less than 30 days from the expiration date, well you can put all that together yourself.

I’d panic but where would that get me?  I have to just let it be whatever it will be.  And if we have to we can extend the lock-in and pay the fee to do that.  I’d rather not have to do that and would ideally love it if we could close the week of October 8th (after the Boobie-Thon), but I won’t be holding out for it.
